ANALISIS KESEHATAN MENTAL PADA KELOMPOK REMAJA DENGAN KECANDUAN GAME ONLINE DI DESA WILAYAH KUTABARO

Abstract

In this era of sophisticated globalization, online gaming addiction has become a very worrying problem, especially among teenagers. This behavior not only affects their social and academic lives, but also has the potential to cause serious mental health problems.  This article discusses the analysis of mental health in a group of adolescents with online game addiction in a Kutabaro area village. The research informants totaled 100 people who were teenagers in the Kutabaro area. This data collection technique uses library study and field study methods. online game addiction has an impact on mental changes. It can be seen in addiction, depression, behavioral problems, sleep disorders. Apparently, online game addiction is not only troubling parents and teachers in urban communities. The anxiety has also begun to be felt by people in the Kutabaro Region. The addiction is manifested in the long duration used to play online games, while the impact is felt on mental health.
