PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS SIMULASI PHET UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP FISIKA INTI PADA SISWA SMA

Abstract


This study aims to determine the improvement of students' concept understanding on core physics material by using PhET simulation media. This research uses quantitative method with quasi experimental design that is The Randomized Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Population in this research is student of class XII-IPA MAN Indrapuri. The sample in this study were students of class XII-IPA-1 (experiment) and students of class XII-IPA-2 (control). The research instrument used the students' concept comprehension test on the core physics material using a multiple choice test of 10 questions. The improvement of students' concept understanding is known from the N-Gain value whose significance of improvement is determined by using the mean bedaduare test of the pre-test and post-test scores. The data analysis technique uses t test. The results showed that Phet simulation-based learning can improve the understanding of physics concepts in core physics materials.
