Abstract


Economic development is a process of continuous change in the long term
whose aim is not only to increase per capita income which is a monetary indicator, but also to improve the quality of life, literacy, welfare and prosperity. The data collection carried out in this study is in the form of secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Aceh Province for the period 2008-2017. In this study using panel data and the data processing is carried out with the help of the eviews 9 program. The results of this study show that simultaneously or jointly the variables of the Human Development Index (IPM), Regional Original Income (PAD) and population have a significant effect on inequality in economic development. While partially or one by one, the variable Human Development Index (HDI) has no influence but is significant on inequality in economic development. While the Regional Original Income (PAD) variable does not have a significant and significant effect on the inequality of economic development and the population variable has no and significant effect on the inequality of economic development
