Respon Pemberian Jenis Pupuk Organik Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Tanaman Padi (Oryza sativa L.)

Abstract


Rice is the staple food of most of Indonesia's population and is prioritized by the Government. In 2014, the province of Aceh's rice production was estimated to reach 1.97 million tons of dry milled unhusked rice, or decreased by 1.82 million tons (4.11%) compared to 2013's rice production. weather that has an impact on the failure of the farmers' harvest. Fixed figures (ATAP) in 2014 showed that the total rice harvest area was 376.14 thousand ha with a total production of 1.82 million tons of MPD. However, in January-April 2015, the harvested area of rice was 226.93 ha (BPS Aceh, 2015). The purpose of this study was to determine the response of the provision of organic fertilizer to the growth and yield of rice plants. The research was carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Abulyatama University, Aceh Besar District. use a randomized factorial randomized block design (RBD), 3 treatments with 3 replications so that there are 9 experimental units. Factors studied were the administration of cow manure (compost) and rice straw compost, each with a dose of 150 g / pot (20 tons / ha). Application of cow dung and rice straw compost has a very significant effect on plant height and number of rice tillers at 15, 30, 45 and 60 HST and the weight of 100 grains at 112 HST. The best treatment is in the treatment of cow manure.
