PENGARUH DISIPLIN BELAJAR TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK KELAS XI DI SMA NEGERI 02 SIJUNJUNG
Abstract
This study is motivated by the phenomenon found in the field, namely the low learning outcomes of some students, which are presumed to be caused by a lack of learning discipline. This condition is reflected in behaviors such as procrastinating assignments, not doing homework, lacking focus during lessons, and frequently arriving late to class. The objectives of this study are to: (1) describe the learning discipline of grade XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Sijunjung, (2) describe the learning outcomes of grade XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Sijunjung, and (3) determine the influence of learning discipline on the learning outcomes of grade XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Sijunjung. This research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The population consisted of 104 students, and all of them were taken as the sample using a simple random sampling technique. The research instrument used was a questionnaire, and the data were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that: (1) the learning discipline of grade XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Sijunjung is categorized as good, (2) the learning outcomes of the students are categorized as good, and (3) there is a significant influence of learning discipline on students’ learning outcomes, with a contribution of 45.2%. Based on these findings, it is recommended that students improve their learning discipline in order to achieve better learning outcomes
