Correction, Retraction and Withdrawal Policy
Jurnal Humaniora follows the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record.
Withdrawal (before publication)
- Authors may request to withdraw a manuscript at any stage before publication by sending a written request, signed by all authors and stating the reason, to the Editor in Chief at jurnalhumaniora@abulyatama.ac.id.
- Withdrawal during peer review or after acceptance is permitted only for substantial reasons (e.g., a serious error found by the authors) and requires the Editor's approval.
- Submitting the same manuscript to another journal before the withdrawal is confirmed is regarded as duplicate submission.
Correction (Erratum/Corrigendum)
- Errors introduced by the journal during production are corrected through an Erratum; significant errors made by the authors are corrected through a Corrigendum.
- The correction is published as a separate notice linked to the original article, and the article page is updated to indicate that a correction exists.
Retraction
- An article is retracted when there is clear evidence of unreliable findings, plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication or falsification, or unethical research.
- A retraction notice stating the reason is published and linked to the article.
- Retracted articles are never removed. The article, its metadata and its DOI remain available, and the PDF and article page are clearly marked "RETRACTED".
Expression of Concern
- Where an investigation is ongoing or evidence is inconclusive, the Editor may publish an Expression of Concern linked to the article.
