Journal History

Jurnal Humaniora: Jurnal Ilmu Sosial, Ekonomi dan Hukum was founded in 2017 by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) Universitas Abulyatama. The first issue (Vol. 1 No. 1) was published in April 2017, and the journal has been published regularly twice a year, in April and October, since then.

• 2017: First issue published; the journal became a member of Crossref and began assigning DOIs to all articles.
• The journal obtained its electronic ISSN (2548-9585) and print ISSN (2684-9275).
• 2024: The journal is nationally accredited as a SINTA 5 journal by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Decree No. 177/E/KPT/2024, 15 October 2024), valid from Vol. 7 No. 1 (2023) to Vol. 11 No. 2 (2027).
• 2026: The editorial team, peer review process, and journal policies were updated to strengthen quality and international standards, and the journal adopted English as its sole language of publication.
