Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Perilaku Petugas Kebersihan Terhadap Penanganan Sampah Medis Di Rumah sakit Umum Daerah Meuraxa

Abstract

The aim of this research was to know factors affecting cleaning service’s behavior towards handling medical waste at The Meuraxa Hospital Banda Aceh. The method used in this study was descriptive analytic to know factors affecting cleaning cervice’s behavior towards handling medical waste. Respondents were cleaning service who direct contact on medical waste as many as 30 respondents. Respondents' data were obtained from distributing questionnaire’s to measure knowledge, attitude, and their action. Data analysis was performed by univariate analysis, that is data collected and presented in the form of a frequency distribution table. The result  showed that were 100% of respondent have a great knowledge, also respondent’s attitude were great as 100%, and respondent’s action were great too as 100%. And the result of analysis showed that’s factors was affecting cleaning service’s behavior towards handling medical waste. The conclusion of this research is there is significant correlation between knowledge, attitude, and action with cleaning service’s behavior towards handling medical waste at The Meuraxa Hospital in 2019.
