PREVALENSI PASIEN KELAINAN REFRAKSI PADA ANAK USIA SEKOLAH DI RSUD MEURAXA BANDA ACEH

Abstract

This study aims to determine the prevalence of refractive disorders in school-age children at Meuraxa Hospital, Banda Aceh. The type of research used is analytical observational research with a cross-sectional design. The study was conducted in May 2024. The sample in this study was taken using a total sampling technique, namely 45 patients aged 6 - 18 years. Data analysis was carried out in this study using univariate analysis, bivariate analysis, along with statistical testing using chi square. The results of the examination showed that the characteristics of school-age children who experienced refractive disorders at Meuraxa Hospital were mostly aged 13-15 years (46.7%). which is dominated by women. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended to better understand refractive disorders.
